Slughorn

These two are basically the same person. Dare to counter me. They even look alike. Seriously, I can't see any differences.

Everything is okay

I sure do enjoy my life. It is one of those times when you can't think of anything bad. I've been hanging out with two of my best friends, Trevor Ward and Kassie Hamilton. I have had the best week.

Here is my next week:

  • Special Needs Sacrament Meeting tomorrow at 8:45 AM.
  • No school after Tuesday
  • I'm going on a date with the beautiful Lauren Miner. We are doubling with Trevor and his date, Megan Francis, and we are going to see our Curley, Taft Robinson, in the play, Into the Woods.
  • I have something Wednesday. I'll get back to you on it. I forgot.
  • Thursday is Thanksgiving. I sure do enjoy that November gem.
  • Friday I don't have to avoid Christmas music. Seriously, we can avoid listening to that stuff until after Thursday. An entire month is plenty for any genre of music.
  • Saturday I don't have school.
  • Sunday is Sunday.
  • Then back to school (but we don't think about that).

Another thing. You know how I want to be an author? Well, I got this book that a majority of high school students would mistake for a phonebook. It is not a phonebook. It is the 2011 Writer's Market, which holds every single publisher in the United States. For an author, it's pretty dang awesome. I decided I couldn't waste a resource like that, so I decided to do something. I am in the process of writing a short story which I will submit until it is published (probably in 2058). I am really excited. I will post the story, first draft, when I finish.

Needless to say, my life is going by perfectly.

True Love

I really wanted to hate it. I wanted my reaction to be absolute anger. But the beauty of the first snow fall made my heart skip a beat. I guess I'm a sucker for snow.

Blogging

Have you ever just wanted to type? Just write everything and anything that comes to mind? That is my life every moment. I love this place. All I would need would be a toilet and I would live on my blog. Right next to the title. Probably in a Victorian type chair. I can imagine it.
Imagine. It works.
I have some people I miss a whole bunch. Also, I am 98.357% sure that I will fall asleep in English tomorrow. I am more tired than a screen door on a submarine. Wait. Wait that doesn't work. How about more tired than a horse on heavy human sedatives? That is the stuff.
Don't forget to read your scriptures. If you aren't Mormon, give me a call. We should really talk because I'm concerned about your salvation and stuff. Really though, ringy-dingy. A wise man once said, "If you are a racist I will attack you with the North." I believe it was Abraham Lincoln.
Super tired though. I didn't get a nap, that's why. Stop whining. This has been lots of random things with W. R. Duclos. Did I tell you guys that is my pen name? I think it is really good. Try saying it out loud. Or in your head, I don't care. Night.

Stenographer

So for all you people like me who would have to look up this word, it is basically the person who takes notes during court cases. It is probably one of the few jobs that has to do with writing that I would not enjoy. If I haven't made this apparent enough, I will be a famous author someday. I am currently working on a short story that I will submit to a Sci-Fi magazine. It will be the best.
I got asked to Sadies. I am pretty excited. Dance number three. How is school for everyone? Don't forget to be friendly. I have been extremely tired this week. I went to bed prior to eleven o'clock, which won't happen tonight.
I love writing. I am so excited for my life. If I had food and shelter and no responsibilities, I could write forever. It is my love, it is my passion, it is my fault I didn't lock the garage (Ferris Bueller was a quoting necessity). What do you live for? I love getting feedback from my readers, because if you suck, people will say so. If you are the best, people will still say you suck. Now tell me I suck.

Teaching Assistant

I am a teaching assistant for one of my favorite teachers, Mrs. Gallagher. I TA during A3, which is a sophomore English class. It is supposed to be Honors, but these kids are as dumb as dirt. I am pretty sure that at least two of the students hate me because I caught them cheating my first day on the job. It is not really my fault, though. They were being so obvious about it! I couldn't believe they were surprised I caught them.
Also some kids are in this class who I know, like Kassie Hamilton, or that one girl with the ridiculous name, or Brittney McArthur or Micaela Doyle. Happy birthday to her sister, Delanie. I hate school. I wish all the teachers had sense like Mrs. Gallagher or Mr. Dalton or Van Dijk.
I wish I had a better class to TA for. If they are reading this, they should really be not creeping. I miss my brother (surprise there). Have a good week.

That is the stuff, as well

This weekend was youth conference. It was so awesome. I love my ward. I have felt my testimony grow this weekend. Plus I spent some time with some of my best friends. Definitely a good weekend.
Here is a great hymn. It was Joseph Smith's favorite:

A poor wayfaring Man of grief
Hath often crossed me on my way,
Who sued so humbly for relief
That I could never answer nay.
I had not pow'r to ask his name,
Whereto he went, or whence he came;
Yet there was something in his eye
That won my love; I knew not why.
Once, when my scanty meal was spread,
He entered; not a word he spake,
Just perishing for want of bread.
I game him all; he blessed it, break,
And ate, but gave me part again.
Mine was an angel's portion then,
For while I fed with eager haste,
The crust was manna to my taste.
I spied him where a fountain burst,
Clear from the rock; his strength was gone.
The heedless water mocked his thirst;
He heard it, saw it hurrying on.
I ran and raised the suff'rer up;
Thrice from the stream he drained my cup,
Dipped and returned it running o'ver;
I drank and never thirted more.
'Twas night; the floods were out; it blew
A winter hurricane aloof.
I heard his voice abroad and flew
To bid him welcome to my roof.
I warmed and clothed cheered my guest
And laid him on my couch to rest,
Then made the earth my bed and seemed
In Eden's garden while I dreamed.
Stript, wounded, beaten nigh to death,
I found him by the highway side.
I roused his pulse, brought back his breath,
Revived his spirit, and supplied
Wine, oil, refreshment he was healed.
I had myself a wound concealed,
But from that hour forgot the smart,
And peace bound up my broken heart.
In pris'n I saw him next, condemned
To meet a traitor's doom at morn.
The tide of lying tongues I stemmed,
And honored him 'mid shame and scorn.
My friendship's utmost zeal to try,
He asked if I for him would die.
The flesh was weak; my blood ran chill,
But my free spirit cried, 'I will!'
Then in a moment to my view
The stranger started from disguise.
The tokens in his hands I knew;
The Savior stood before mine eyes.
He spake, and my poor name he named,
'Of me thou hast not been ashamed.
These deeds shall thy memorial be;
Fear not, thou didst them unto me.'

I love the portrayal of the Savior in this piece of work. It is perfect. My favorite part is the quote at the end. Let this song inspire you today. It sure inspires me everyday.

Plagiarism?

I steal stuff from my blog in order to write papers for English. I feel it is dishonest somehow. I don't really care, though.

Bucket List: Almost

I got close. Really, really close. I didn't go on a date with that girl. I still haven't. I really wish I could soon, but I don't think it is going to happen during my high school career. ******Update****** I did get a chance to go on a date with that girl. May I say that it was fanTAStic? I stayed in Utah all summer. I just never got the chance to not be here. I almost slept a whole night outside, but I went inside because my bed sucked and I had no heat. I didn't ride in Mr. Miyagi's Camaro, but I will sometime. I didn't even watch War of the Buttons with someone, let alone have people share it. I did not play baseball. That is something I want to do soon.
  • Go on a date at least once every 2 weeks (on average).
  • Get Hannah Schill to talk to me again.

  • Eat Strawberries and Cream.
  • Go to Scout Camp.
  • Be in the Strawberry Days Parade.
  • Be a Viking.
  • Quit my job.
  • Start working at tamsolutions.
  • Read the Shadow Saga.
  • Read Preach My Gospel 3 times.
  • Leave Utah for a trip.
  • Sleep outside on not a campout for a full night.
  • See Harry Potter 7.5.
  • Go to the The Decemberists concert.
  • Go to the Fleet Foxes concert.
  • Go to the Farmer's Market in SLC.
  • Play a good game of five card stud (betting with candy, of course).
  • Ride in my neighbor's Camaro.
  • Make people aware of the film War of the Buttons, aka one of the best films of all time.
  • Do a backflip.
  • Go on the natural water slide in Alpine.
  • Go scuba diving with mi madre y hermano.
  • Watch all the Star Wars films.
  • See X-Men: First Class.
  • See Thor.
  • Read To Kill a Mockingbird at least twice.

Iron Chef

Sorry I suck at blogging lately. I had finals, Halloween, multiple things to cook, girls to woo. I really haven't got the time. In fact, I should be sleeping right now. You are welcome for entertaining you.
Wooing Clark Kent style.
I transferred out of BC Calculus. I got a C-, but I thought I was just stretching myself too thin. I had very little options for transferring into classes for my this period classes. I ended up getting into an advanced foods class called prostart. It was kind of overwhelming to get dropped into it mid semester, but I think I can do it.
Right now we are basically going Iron Chef style. We need to get an appetizer, an entree, and a dessert cooked in one hour with only two burners for cooking. Not only am I new to the class, however, but my group is comprised of two other guys and we basically started from today, thus we are behind the other groups. Today after school, I practiced making Rice Pudding. Check it up:

I plated it myself. For an amateur, I think I did pretty good.
I am excited. I feel like a loser because I haven't been asked to Sadie's get. That sounds really pitiful and whiney, but this is my blog and I will say what I want. I didn't really want to say that. I haven't been looking at what I am typing, I am just staring at the ceiling. I won't correct any of the mistakes I may hbe made in this paragraph. But seriously, I would like to be asked. I am such a loser for resorting to the internet to show my sadness. Why should I be sad anyway? There are more male than female students at PGHS anyway.
I really enjoy being a part of KPGR. It is the only thing that I always want to do. So listen to me on Wednesdays on KPGR 88.1 FM, from 3:30-4:30. Don't think about it, just do it. If you want to call in to talk to me or to request a song (or both), call in at 801-785-KPGR or 801-785-5747. I will love you forever if you listened.
I am sucha whiney little pansy this post. I want you guys to do so much. But really it isn't that much. Do you guys have questions about me? You could ask me like in the comments. Sure.
