Best feelings in the world
You know, the stuff that makes you really happy
- Waking up on General Conference Sunday to your mother preparing breakfast.
- "Aha!" moments when you are reading the scriptures.
- When your niece (maybe nephew, also, I don't have one) spontaneously hugs you and says, "I love you!"
- After a long day of laborious work, finally turning off the light, closing your eyes and just relaxing into sleep.
- Waking up just before your alarm, fully prepared for the day.
- Taking a shower/bath after a camp out (especially week long trips).
- Walking down Main Street USA and waiting for Disneyland to open.
- Realizing that your friend is super amazing.
- Eating Strawberries and Cream.
- Proving a teacher wrong.
- Bearing your testimony.
- Seeing someone who you missed.
- The moment you realize your hiccups are gone.
- Starting a fire with one match.
- Wake up to your alarm only to realize you just forgot to turn it off, then going back to sleep.
- Finishing a great novel.
- Finishing a Christopher Nolan film.
- Sitting in your house talking to friends during a giant rainstorm.
- Running around in a giant rainstorm.
- Having a 1 on 1 snowball fight with your best friend in summer clothing.
- Looking out on Utah Valley from the top of Mount Timpanogos.
- Cliff jumping.
- Finding something after days of searching (with plenty of praying).
- Opening the door of the car that transported you from winter Utah to beautiful California and feeling the temperature rise 20˚.
- Thinking about almost lost memories that are fond.
- What you feel as you do service with your whole heart.
- Applying the Atonement to your life.
- Being friends with those who need it.

Inferring Stuff
We all infer. We all assume. Here are somethings that you may not pick up:
Sign: Uses "semester" and "term" as measurements of time.
What to infer: They have been in school for too long. Or they're pregnant.
Sign: Sees a commercial for a political movie and is attracted to it.
What to infer: Either they are an old person or they haven't gotten out for at least 1 1/2 hours.
Sign: Talks to a girl everyday about nothing at all.
What to infer: He really really wants to go on a date with her, but she is waaaaaay to pretty, smart, and kind for him. Also, she is older than him. Or, he just has no friends.
Sign: Blogs about his personal life through a cheesy "sign" and "what to infer".
What to infer: They are Wyatt Duclos.
I get to see my friends. I mean my nieces. They are my friends, though. Morning side tomorrow, pretty insane. Look at this:

You take me there, and I will buy you popcorn at Ace Allred's
I went to Ace Allred's today with my dad. We are repainting our front room, and so we were looking at color options. A woman was there with her 1st grade daughter (my niece, Noel, is in Kindergarten.) Since both our parents were being boring, we compared favorite paint colors. I shared with her a piece of my popcorn. She reminded me of my niece, Noel. Well, let's just say the similarity made me sad. I miss my two oldest nieces. They live in Nashville. Also, Rallie said she had an aunt who went to PGHS named Megan, retying her similarity to my niece. Ralley or Rally or Rallie, however she spelled her name, introduced me to her little sister, who was just older than the other Nashvillain, Ellie. They chased me around and scared me.

These are my nieces. The cute ones, not the bear. |
Rallie (I think that is how she spells it) then got some popcorn with her sister. She made a point of putting a piece into my bag to replace the one I shared. I really miss my nieces, and these two girls were almost a gateway to playing with them. So you can understand my sadness when they left. I tried to say goodbye, but I didn't want to seem like a creep. We left the store and as we walked out to the car, Rallie yelled out her car window, "Goodbye!!" Needless to say, I really need to see my nieces. They will be coming April 6th. Not soon enough.
